I AM intending to sue the Scottish Parliament as my wife had to buy smelling salts to revive me after I read that the legislation to allow people to choose their gender has been rejected ("Legal bid to allow Scots to choose gender will be rejected", The Herald, February 7). The grounds of the case will be that “I suffered from shock due to our elected representatives making a sensible decision".
