Budget: Buckfast to rise by 81p but pint of Guinness 3p cheaper
THE PRICE of Buckfast is set to rise as a result of the Chancellor's budget.
The fortified wine will be 81p more, along with rises in taxes of other higher-alcohol beverages.
Red wine drinkers are also set to pay more, while fans of white wine, Prosecco and rosé can expect their glasses to be slightly cheaper.
