Jackie McNamara expects to add to his Dundee United squad this week with the signings of former Tottenham Hotspur youngsters Calum Butcher and Kudus Oyenuga and may also move for the three trialists who have joined the squad for pre-season training this week.

Lee Camp, the former Norwich City goalkeeper; Graham Carey, released by St Mirren; and Nadir Ciftci, a Turkish striker last with NAC Breda, are all trying to earn deals. Defender Butcher and striker Oyenuga have already impressed and McNamara hopes to strike deals.

"There are a lot of things still happening player-wise and hopefully by the end of this week we will have the right ones in," he said. "There are two lads here who have been with Tottenham. I watched them at the weekend with Darren Jackson and both impressed so we have moved to bring them here."
