KYLE LETHEREN, the Dundee goalkeeper, will today undergo a scan to find out the extent of the knee injury which ruled him out of Saturday's SPFL Premiership win at Motherwell.

The Welshman twisted his knee in the warm-up before the 3-1 victory at Fir Park so was replaced by Scott Bain between the sticks. Letheren has been in fine form for Paul Hartley's men this season and has been included in the last two Wales squads by Chris Coleman as they bid to qualify for France 2016.

"Kyle is going for a scan today," Paul Hartley, the Dundee manager, said. "It was an awkward one the way he went down. We're obviously hoping it's not a bad one.

"We'll just keep our fingers crossed and see what happens. Kyle has been excellent for us this season, it's just one of these things which happen in football."
