PASTURES NEW: Nigel Hasselbaink has returned to Holland to sign a deal with Excelsior
NIGEL HASSELBAINK has returned to his Dutch homeland to join Excelsior on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old striker was released by Hamilton at the end of the season and has won a contract with the Eredvisie club after spending two weeks there on trial.
"I am really looking forward to getting back playing football in the Netherlands and my family coming to see me play every week," said the one-time PSV Eindhoven trainee.
