SCOTLAND'S Colin Fleming suffered a nasty fall as he and his Israeli partner Jonathan Erlich crashed out of the doubles competition at the AEGON Championship at Queen's in a keenly-fought semi final against Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert. A morale-boosting pre-Wimbledon run had seen the wild cards take the scalps of British duo Aljaz Bedene and Kyle Edmund and No 3 seeds Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau to get this far but they eventually ran out of answers as they went down 6-7(2), 7-6 (3), (10-8) to the No 1 seeds. Having taken the first set on a tie-break, Fleming appeared to strike his temple on the concrete at the back of the court as the French pair levelled matters in a second set breaker. He picked himself up to fight gamely on but was unable to prevent the French duo from progressing to the final.
