HEARTS goalkeeper Jack Hamilton has been called back into the Scotland squad after the withdrawal of Hull City's Allan McGregor.

Gordon Strachan's side face England in a crucial World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park on Saturday 10 June.

Hamilton was a part of the original 30-man squad called up for the clash before being dropped at the start of the week when it was reduced to 24 players.

However, McGregor's withdrawal has offered the uncapped 23-year-old the chance to join Celtic's Craig Gordon and David Marshall of Hull in Strachan's goalkeeping options.
