WOLVES left-back Barry Douglas has withdrawn from the Scotland squad for the upcoming trip to Peru and Mexico.

Kilmarnock right-back Stephen O'Donnell has instead been called up in his place by Scotland manager Alex McLeish.

O'Donnell becomes the eighth uncapped player in the 24-man squad named for the end-of-season friendlies.

Hearts' John Souttar and Jon McLaughlin, Hibernian's Lewis Stevenson and Dylan McGeouch, Aberdeen's Graham Shinnie, Celtic's Lewis Morgan and Millwall goalkeeper Jordan Archer were also included.

Scotland travel to face Peru on May 29, followed by Mexico on June 2.
