Hearts have continued their summer rebuilding work with the pre-contract signing of Luton midfielder Olly Lee.

The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year-deal and will arrive at Tynecastle later this summer.

He becomes Craig Levein's fifth new arrival to be confirmed following the captures of Steven MacLean, Bobby Burns, Uche Ikpeazu and Jake Mulraney.

Lee makes the move north after a season in which he helped Luton secure promotion from SkyBet League Two having netted seven goals in 43 appearances this season - including his EFL Goal of the Season 70-yard strike against Cambridge United.

Lee began his career at West Ham but was farmed out on loan to Dagenham and Redbridge and Gillingham before penning a permanent deal with Barnet.

A move to Birmingham City soon followed, and after a short spell at Plymouth Argyle he then signed for Luton, where he made 123 appearances for the Hatters over three seasons.
