KILMARNOCK winger Jordan Jones has responded to his critics who have doubted the winger's commitment to his current club.
Jones, 24, has agreed to join Rangers on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract at Rugby Park expires.
The Kilmarnock winger tweeted his delight when he signed his Ibrox contract, describing the move as "a dream come true" and faced a backlash from some sections of the Kilmarnock support as a result.
But Jones - who could line up against Rangers when the two sides meet at Ibrox next Wednesday - refuted the suggestion that he will no longer give his all for Steve Clarke.
Jones said: "Everybody has an opinion in football and maybe they are a bit upset in the way it was done but it is part of football.
"The only thing I can do is show how committed I am. My team-mates know I am committed, the gaffer knows I am committed, and everyone in the club knows I am committed."
The English winger admitted that the offending tweet wasn't the best decision he has ever made but put it down to the excitement of signing for his new club.
"Looking back I was probably a bit too over-excited," he said. "It was a bit of inexperience at the time.
"It has happened now, there is nothing I can do. I can't take it back. The only way I can win them back is with my performances on the pitch."
Kilmarncok manager Steve Clarke echoed Jones' sentiment and said that any fans who boo the winger will be criticising his selection policy too.
"If the fans boo Jordan then they are booing me as well. If I select Jordan to play for Kilmarnock, then they are criticising my selection," said Clarke.
