Tommy Sloan wants his Auchinleck Talbot players to remain grounded amid the high from their William Hill Scottish Cup giant-killing.
The Ayrshire Junior side upset the odds with a 1-0 win over Ladbrokes Championship outfit Ayr United at Beechwood Park on Saturday.
The stunning victory set up a last-16 tie against Ladbrokes Premiership side Hearts at Tynecastle next month.
Sloan, who was Auchinleck manager when they lost 1-0 away to the Tynecastle side in the competition in 2012, will ensure his players are concentrating on their defence of the Junior Cup, with the visit of Rutherglen Glencairn in the fifth round on Saturday.
"There have been lots of pats on the back since Saturday and the team were excellent," said Sloan.
"We will not see the players until Tuesday and we need to get focused on this week. We have Rutherglen Glencairn in the Junior Cup.
"We have a great record in that and we want to maintain that record.
"They are a dangerous side, they are top of their league and scoring goals and they can be dangerous, especially with us being on a high.
"So we need to get into the swing of things straight away on Saturday because we will be put out if we don't.
"Just get on with our job. Let's not get started thinking we are something that we are not.
"We got the result on Saturday with a wee bit of quality, a lot of digging in and a lot of hard work and organisation. We need to always remember that."
Sloan is "delighted" with the chance to return to Tynecastle although he knows the task will no easier than it was seven years ago.
He said: "I think because we have been there before a lot of people would want something different, but Hearts at Tynecastle in the Scottish Cup is a great draw.
"Obviously I would probably have liked them at our place on a smaller tighter pitch with our fans in the majority.
"But there is a financial side to it as well for the club and we have to look at the big picture.
"We would have bitten your hand off for the last-16 of the Scottish Cup at the start of the season so it is a reward for performances through the tournament.
"The last time round, our goalkeeper had a good day. Hearts had most of the game and he saved a penalty. People will expect something the same.
"I think we have better attacking options than we had then so we probably have a better chance of scoring a goal.
"But you have to be realistic. We are going to be up against it for most of the game but you always have a chance. You have to go in believing you have a chance."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
