Kieran Tierney will captain Celtic for this afternoon's game against Motherwell as he makes his return from injury.

The fullback has not featured since Celtic's Europa League tie against Salzburg on December 13th. Callum McGregor will sit out the game - the first one he has missed across all competition for both club and country since Celtic's season began in July.

McGregor has featured in an astonishing 54 games this term so far but picked up a knock in Thursday night's Europa League defeat to Valencia.

Ewan Henderson also makes his first league start for Brendan Rodgers' side while Scott Brown is suspended for the game after his red-card at Kilmarnock last Sunday.
