THE draw for the last eight eight and the semi-finals of the Champions League has taken place, with a number of mouth-watering ties for supporters to get excited about.

Manchester United will host Barcelona before travelling to the Nou Camp for the second leg, while this year's surprise package Ajax have been drawn against Italian champions Juventus.

Liverpool will host Porto in the first leg of their tie, while the final quarter-final is an all-English affair between Manchester City and Tottenham.

The draw for the semi-finals of Europe's top club competition also took place, with the winners of Spurs' clash with Man City set to face either Ajax or Juventus.

That means that the remaining semi-final has thrown up the possibilty of a Manchester United v Liverpool tie, if the clubs can knock out Barcelona and Porto respectively.

The first leg of the quarter-finals will be played on the 9th and 10th of March, with the return legs scheduled to take place the following week.
