THE shortlist for this year's PFA Scotland Players' Player of the Year has been announced.

The four players, voted by their peers, who are in contention for the award are Callum McGregor, James Forrest, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.

Morelos is the top scorer in the league this campaign with 17 goals this term, while Ryan Kent has been a standout performer for Steven Gerrard's team since arriving on loan from Liverpool.

Celtic's Callum McGregor and James Forrest will be among the front-runners for the award, after both have starred for the champions this season and raised their game to a new level.
