Rangers have made an offer to Liverpool to sign 22-year-old winger Ryan Kent on loan again for next season. Steven Gerrard confirmed that he was looking to try and secure the fan favourite next season, but interest in Kent is thought to be high. (Scotsman)

Mourinho has had an offer from Celtic, claims Chris Sutton

Chris Sutton has claimed that Celtic have made an offer to Jose Mourinho about becoming their new manager. With Celtic looking for a new manager, Sutton has claimed that Mourinho has been approached and that the new manager will be revealed quickly after the Scottish cup final. Speaking on BT Sport he said: “It’s so tough to stand here and say who will be the next Celtic manager because it’s a big job.

 “There’s going to be a lot of managers in for it.

“Mourinho was heavily linked and I’m led to believe that there was something in that in terms of there being an offer.

“But why would he take the Celtic job? I just don’t get it.

“I don’t know the exact terms but there was an offer.” (Goal.com)

Boyata in parting shot at Celtic
