MOTHERWELL have accepted a £3.25m offer from English Premier League new boys Norwich City for David Turnbull.

The news comes after Celtic had earlier pulled out of the race to sign the 19-year-old, with negotiations breaking down despite the Scottish champions agreeing a fee of £3m with the Fir Park club last week.

Turnbull and his agent Liam O'Donnell will now hold talks with the Canaries with a view to the midfielder heading south.

The deal with Norwich is also believed to include a significant sell-on clause.
