Bournemouth have handed former Dundee kid Kyle Gourlay a trial.

The young goalkeeper most recently starred on loan at Elgin City but is highly-rated in Scotland.

Formerly of Dens Park and Airdrie, Gourlay will train with the Dean Court outfit in a bid to earn a deal.

The 20-year-old stopper has been in with Queen of the South recently who remain keen to sign him.

But the lure of a week at the English Premier League club was too good to pass up and the youngster will travel to the Cherries base tomorrow.

Gourlay made 38 appearances in all competitions for Elgin last season but left parent club Dundee after their relegation.

It is understood Hamilton Accies are also interested in the player.
