Lennon: I’ve never heard of Quintero

Celtic manager Neil Lennon last night said he’d never heard of Sergio Quintero, who has been linked with a move to Glasgow’s east end. Quintero claimed that Celtic and Ecuadorian side Imbabura SC had already come to an agreement, but Lennon insisted that he knew nothing about the deal. "I’m not aware from any contact from our side," he said. "I don’t know where that has come from."

Gerrard says new signing is ‘imminent’

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed that the club are on the brink of an eighth summer signing, but insisted that it is not reported target Simon Deli. Gerrard said: “There is something imminent in that position, but it is not the guy that you are talking about. I’m hoping something will get done by the end of the week.”

Lennon delighted with Sarajevo win
