Eintracht Frankfurt 'to make big-money offer for Morelos' 

The Daily Record are reporting that Rangers are bracing themselves for a big-money bid from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt for last season's top scorer Alfredo Morelos. The paper reports that the Bundesliga side sent scouts to eye up the striker in the 6-0 Europa League rout on St Joseph’s on Thursday night. Last month Steven Gerrard confirmed no bids had been made so far for the striker. (Daily Record)

Newcastle pursue James Tavernier

Newcastle are thought to be considering a move for Rangers captain James Tavernier. Steve Brice who recently joined the club as manager is thought to be considering making him a key target for Newcastle United. (Daily Mail)

Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva have confirmed that defender Hatem Abd Elhamed is on his way to Celtic. Alona Barkat, owner of the Israeli club said a £1.6million deal has been agreed with the Scottish champions. She told The Sun: “What I have said to Hatem will remain private between us. But I am the owner of a proud club that our player is going to play in a great team like Celtic. We are honoured and wish that all of our players fulfil their dreams."
