FC CINCINNATI have announced the capture of Celtic defender Andrew Gutman on loan until the end of the 2020 MLS season.

Gutman, 22, was on loan at Charlotte Independence in the US and made 12 appearances for the club before his latest switch.

Cincinnati general manager Gerard Nijkamp told the club's website: "We are excited to add Andrew to our roster.

“He is an exciting young player that will add balance to our backline. We look forward to getting him acclimated with our club and the city of Cincinnati.”

Gutman joined Celtic from Chicago Fire in Januray of this year but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Parkhead club.
