RANGERS' latest test on their route through the Europa League qualifiers looks to be the most difficult yet, with the Ibrox club paired up with Denmark's FC Midtjylland.

The Danish side will surely prove to be more fearsome opposition than Progres Niederkorn and St Joseph's, and Steven Gerrard will be hoping that his side are able to continue their unbeaten start to the 2019/20 season.

The home side are the bookies' favourites to come out on top in the first leg, with most bookmakers offering odds of around 13/10 for a Midjtylland win. Rangers can be backed at around 11/5.

What's the latest team news?

Jon Flanagan is back in Rangers' European squad and is available for selection, replacing Matt Polster. However, Flanagan is still recovering from an injury and is unlikely to start in Denmark.

Filip Helander looks set to miss out on a starting berth as the Swedish internationalist is still building on his fitness for the new campaign. 

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor will return to the first team after the 37-year-old sat out  Sunday's 2-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park as he served the second game of his two-match suspension.
