FORMER Celtic striker Henrik Larsson has resigned from his post at his boyhood club Helsingborgs.
Larsson, 47, only re-joined the club as manager two months ago but felt he had to resign over the 'verbal insults' he recieved.
Helsingborgs chairman Krister Azelius has announced that the club will launch an investigation into the circumstances that ultimately led to Larsson's resignation.
Azelius said: "It is extremely sad that it should be this way. We take a serious look at the insults and we’ll get to the bottom of it.

"Everyone who works in Helsingborgs IF always does the best for the club. The assignment Henrik was given was to keep the team in the Allsvenskan.
"When he took over the team sat in the negative qualifying spot and right now we are in 12th place and two points above the negative qualifying place.
"Based on where we stand now, he has completed the assignment."
