RUSLAN KAMBOLOV is adamant Russia are aiming to dominate Scotland at Hampden as he dismissed suggestions that they would settle for a draw.

With the superstars of Belgium expected to top Group I, a fraught fight to claim second spot is on the cards.

Russia currently occupy that spot after racking up three wins from their opening four matches, ensuring a point from their trip to Glasgow would represent a positive result for Stanislav Cherchesov’s side.

However, Krasnodar defender Kambolov is adamant the visitors only have one thought in their mind.

Kambolov: “Scotland are playing in their own stadium with a big support so I’m sure they will take confidence from that.

“However, we are not going to Glasgow thinking like guests - we want to dominate and play like it was our home match.

“I think that is the best way to play and we have belief that is the best game-plan.

“We are not even thinking about the draw. Our task is to play aggressively, take control and win the match.”
