CELTIC striker Odsonne Edouard was handed his debut for the French under-21s last night, and marked the occasion with a brace after coming off the bench.
Sylvain Ripoli's side hosted Albania in a friendly, with the Celtic forward named as a substitute for the match.
France took the lead through 19-year-old Lyon striker Amine Gouiri shortly before half-time, with Edouard coming off the bench during the second half.
The 21-year-old doubled his side's advantage in the 77th minute before adding another on 89 minutes, with Dortmund forward Dan Axel Zagadou grabbing a fourth in stoppage time.

The goalscoring cameo boosts Edouard's chances of a starting berth for his country's upcoming under-21s Euro qualifiers, where France have been drawn alongside Georgia, Liechtenstein, Slovakia, Switzerland and Azerbaijan.
France's qualfiying campaign begins next month with a home fixture against Georgia on 10 October, followed up with a trip to Slovakia on 15 October.
Edouard has previously represented France at under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels, scoring a totla of 24 goals in 34 appearances.
