KILMARNOCK supporters who were looking forward to seeing the club's proposed new safe standing section at Rugby Park will need to wait another week after the project was hit by an unexpected delay.
324 rail seats are set to be installed at Kilmarnock's stadium and were scheduled to be in place for this weekend's match against Livingston, but the club have announced on their website that this has now been postponed after a delivery delay.
The shipment was delayed due to recent adverse weather conditions, delaying the installation of the rail seats by another week.

Kilmarnock posted the supplier's message on their website. It read: "We received some unwelcome news from the haulier handing the shipment for us, the mother vessel that is carrying our container was late docking in to Rotterdam due to bad weather at sea.
"This meant that the container missed the feeder vessel which was due to dock in to Grangemouth and has been rolled over to the next feeder vessel.
"The feeder vessels only run on a weekly basis in to Grangemouth meaning the container is now running late.
“Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you."
