CELTIC winger James Forrest has signed a new contract at Parkhead, which will keep him tied to the club until 2023.

The Scotland internationalist, who won the PFA Player of the Year award last season, has extended his previous contract that was set to expire in 2022.

Forrest has been with Celtic since the age of nine and has scored nine goals this campaign.

Speaking about the prospect of a new contract earlier this week, Forrest said: "I'll be delighted to get that done really soon and just keep focusing on playing.
