Rangers youngsters smashed fierce rivals Celtic in this afternoon's Scottish Youth Cup clash.

Gers' under-18s head coach David McCallum watched as his players mauled Celts 5-0 thanks to five different scorers.

Highly-rated youngster Leon King, Nathan Young-Coombes, Ross McCausland, Kai Kennedy and Ciaran Dickson were all on the score sheet.

Gers found themselves in front before the half-hour mark through King but couldn't add to their lead before the whistle.

Young-Coombes and McCausland made it two and three within six minutes of each other before Kennedy and Dickson wrapped it up.

The result sees Rangers saunter into the next round where they could face the likes of Hearts or Hibs.
