Rangers youngster Leon King is being tracked by some of European football's biggest clubs, according to a report.

Liverpool and Chelsea are among the teams believed to be monitoring the centre-back's progress at Ibrox.

King, 15, scored in his side's 5-0 mauling of rivals Celtic in the Scottish Youth Cup yesterday but has been the subject of interest from heavyweights in the past.

The Athletic report that King has been watched by scouts as well as Rangers' first-team assistant Gary McAllister.

The youngster turns 16 at the turn of the year and will be able to sign a professional contract then.

And the Light Blues hope he opts to remain in Glasgow where he's played his football since he was five-years-old.
