John Kennedy ends Hibs speculation by 'committing future to Celtic' as hunt for new Easter Road manager continues
Celtic assistant boss John Kennedy is going nowhere after ending speculation linking him to the vacant Hibs job.
Hibs chiefs wanted the Hoops number two to replace Paul Heckingbottom after his sacking and had sounded out the ex-Scotland cap.
However, according to the Scottish Sun, Kennedy has ended the conversation by committing himself to Celtic.
Owner Ron Gordon was reportedly ready to sanction an official move to speak to JK.
But he didn't get the chance and will now be forced to look elsewhere to fill the role.
Jack Ross, Harry Kewell and Nathan Jones remain in the hunt for the job.
