The nephew of Ibrox fan favourite Paul has been involved in Rangers' development squad in his second trial with the club and found the net in a 3-0 win over Partick Thistle on Tuesday night. Former Barnsley manager Daniel Stendel is the latest name being linked with the manager's job at Hearts, with the Scottish Sun reporting that the 45-year-old will be interviewed for the position shortly. The Sun are reporting that current interim boss Austin MacPhee will become the club's new sporting director, with Stendel taking charge of first-team affairs.

Jack ready for Hamilton after horror Kazakh tackle

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack insists that he is raring to go for this weekend's visit to Hamilton after the 27-year-old was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle during Scotland's 3-1 win over Kazakhstan on Tuesday night. Jack said: "My leg is fine. Obviously, it was a bad one but the ref has seen it as a yellow.
