Celtic star Callum McGregor tops 'most minutes played' list in world football for last season

He beat out the likes of Eden Hazard, Ajax's Daley Blind and Benfica's Ruben Dias.

Never one to complain, McGregor actually reckons the game time has made him fitter.

And this Sunday's Betfred Cup final is no different. Nor was Wednesday evening's dramatic victory over Hamilton.

McGregor simply wants to play.

"The more games I play, I feel I’m getting fitter.

"The more experience you can get on the pitch always helps you.

"I feel fresh, I feel hungry and I’m looking forward to the game."
