JAK ALNWICK has been ruled out for three months with an arm injury.

The Rangers keeper has impressed since making the loan switch to Blackpool in the summer.

Alnwick was forced off during the defeat to Accrington Stanley on Boxing Day and boss Simon Grayson said: “Jak will likely be out for up to 12 weeks because of his arm injury.

“He has an operation on Friday and we’ll continue to assess him throughout his period on the sidelines. Obviously, Mark Howard has come in over the past two matches and we have Jack Sims and Chris Mafoumbi available too, should we need them, so we’re well covered in the position.”
