CELTIC put in a commanding showing at Fir Park on Wednesday night as Neil Lennon's side stormed to a 4-0 win over Motherwell in a breathless 90 minutes in Lanarkshire.

Here's how the Celtic players rated as they took another step towards a ninth successive title.

Fraser Forster 6
Excellent save just before break to push away an Aarons effort but could have watched the second period from the stand for all he had to do.

Jozo Simunovic 6
Slid in and missed an important tackle on Aarons which could have been costly. Replaced in the second period after taking a knock.

Christopher Jullien 6
The central cog in a back three who are still finding their feet. Busy opening period but less to do as Celtic took a grip of the game in the second period.

Kris Ajer 6
Unconvincing at times in terms of positional sense in the back three but found his feet as the game went on.

James Forrest 6
Quiet by his own standard but always willing and able to offer something on the right flank.

Olivier Ntcham 6
Slack pass inadvertently started the build up to Celtic’s second goal of the evening but night encapsulated when he skied an effort after exquisite build-up play between Griffiths and Edouard.

Scott Brown 6
Trademark shift in the middle of the park. One slack pass that might have been costly at start of the second period but other than that worked hard to protect back three.

Callum McGregor 9
Excellent throughout. Combined with Edouard for opener and then outstanding run to set up Griffiths for the crucial second goal of the night. Netted a beautiful volley for the third goal of the night.

Greg Taylor 6
Struggled at times to cope with Rolando Aarons but more involved in the second period as Motherwell tired and Celtic dominated.

Leigh Griffiths 7
Scorned glorious chance to kill the game after being teed up by Ntcham when he blasted over. Got frustrated at times in the opening period when things weren’t coming off for him but slotted in Celtic’s second of the night before hitting the bar with a header.

Odsonne Edouard 9
First and last goal of the night to take his tally to 24 for the season. Excellent all-round display again from the on-form forward who has netted five goals in six games since the return from the winter break.

Ryan Christie 5
Took over from Griffiths with 12 minutes of regulation time remaining. Drew the foul from Declan Gallagher from which Edouard netted his second goal of the evening.

Patryck Klimala 4
replaced Edouard for the latter stages but little chance to influence a game that was long won.

Tom Rogic 3
On for Olivier Ntcham as Celtic saw out the game.
