Rangers fans appear to have admitted defeat in the top-flight title race after dropping more points away to St Johnstone yesterday.
Gers allowed a 2-1 lead to slip through their fingers when Stevie May levelled late on. Callum Hendry had given the hosts the lead before Florian Kamberi and Joe Aribo turned the game.
Might as well just pick the league cup up and hand it to celtic now, really pissed of with league performances its a joke

Not good enough. Our defence just threw that game away. Katic needs dropped and never brought back.

Need to drop Katic and Morelos. Both have been woeful recently, put in Edmundson and Stewart along with Kamberi and Hagi in the middle. Need a whole formation change

Horrific defending and that’s the league by. End off.

The 2-2 result leaves Rangers toiling 12 points behind rivals Celtic and supporters pulled no punches in their criticisms of their players.
One moaned: "Might as well just pick the league cup up and hand it to celtic now, really p***ed of with league performances its a joke". Another complained: "Not good enough. Our defence just threw that game away. Katic needs dropped and never brought back."
Gerrard doesn’t have a clue. A shambles of a team

Absolute bottlejobs

Players are players believe their own hype. The league is the bread & butter ffs. Europe’s a bonus but they only get themselves up for those games. Should be ashamed of taking their weekly wages.

One fan sniped: "Been struggling to score for almost 2 months.... aye keep the same system", before a fourth added: "Horrific defending and that’s the league by. End of."
Some were furious with manager Steven Gerrard's decision-making and made their feelings known. "Gerrard out," one blasted. Another wrote: "Gerrard doesn’t have a clue. A shambles of a team".
Rangers have dropped points in four of their previous seven matches in the league while relentless Celtic have won all of their matches in the same timeframe.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
