RYAN JACK has no doubt that Rangers have the quality to emerge from their domestic slump that has wrecked their silverware aspirations.

Defeats to Hearts and Hamilton in recent days have piled the pressure on Steven Gerrard's side as their good work in the Europa League has been undone domestically.

Rangers head to Ross County on Sunday in desperate need of a Premiership victory to give them a platform to build on heading into the last 16 clash with Bayer Leverkusen and Old Firm clash with Celtic.

Gerrard has backed his side to recover their form and midfielder Jack said: “We’re hurting, we’re disappointed with the last two results but it’s time for us to knuckle down and work hard and answer up.

"We just need to work hard on the training pitch and buy into what we’re doing and come the weekend hopefully we can produce a performance we’re proud of. But ultimately we know the last two results haven’t been good enough and we’re hurting and want to go and put that right. There’s been a few hard periods at the club but it’s how you react and work on the training pitch day to day and as a group of players we have to stick together with the staff who will back us.

“You see the chances we had on Wednesday night and we could have been 2-0 or 3-0 up at half time and the game would have been dead but we didn’t take them, Hamilton stayed in the game and scored from our mistake.

"Without a doubt, this group of players can get out of this rut. We’ve got a great mixture in the changing room including the experience of people who have been here and won things."
