Celtic's 1967 squad, the Lisbon Lions, were included in the list of 32 and pitted against the likes of Nottingham Forest's 77-80 squad, AC Milan's 88-90 team, the Man United squad from 1965-68 as well as the dominant 2014-15 Barcelona squad.

The Herald:

BT then re-ran the poll in a replay with Celtic coming out on top with 54% of the 85,000 votes cast.

The poll, which has been running for a number of weeks on the BT Sport Twitter page has attracted football fans who have voted in their thousands.

In 1967 Celtic enjoyed domestic dominance winning the Scottish league, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup before winning the biggest prize in European football.
