CASTORE co-founder Tom Beahon has revealed that Rangers fans will have the option to purchase the pro jerseys that the Ibrox players will wear on a matchday.

The sportswear brand confirmed they had signed a five-year deal with the Light Blues over the weekend and Gers supporters are eagerly awaiting the announcement of their new kit designs.

Co-founder Tom Beahon has confirmed that supporters will either be able to buy a replica version of the shirts or they can splash the cash on a pro jersey, which is the exact top that the players will be donning on the pitch.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: "We realised that increasing the price of the core replica jersey was going to be a very emotive issue for fans, so that's not something that we want to do.

"That core jersey will remain in line with the price point that it's been historically.

"However, there is an opportunity, we believe, to expand that product offering.

"So for Rangers, we'll be launching a pro jersey which will be the kit that the players themselves wear on the pitch stepping out at Ibrox on a Saturday afternoon.

"That will be at a higher price point. Not all fans will want that kit but we believe a significant portion of them will.

"Beyond that we think there's a really interesting opportunity to expand the Rangers product range into lifestyle products, into products that are more fashion forward, into slightly more trend-driven products.

"And again, because we are a digital brand, we maybe have the ability to move more quickly than more of our traditional competitors."

Castore also supply sportswear to Scottish tennis star Andy Murray.

The two-time Wimbledon champion has been with the likes of Adidas and Fred Perry, but he describes the kit as the best he has worn.
