BORNA BARISIC has returned to Glasgow and avoided fourteen days in quarantine.
The Rangers full-back touched down on Scottish soil ahead of the UK introducing a new fortnight lockdown law from tomorrow.
Fellow Croat Niko Katic also returned to Glasgow ahead of the new guidance being put into place.
Barisic documented his travels on Instagram by uploading an image of himself boarding a flight with a mask on.
Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard allowed his foreign players to return to their native homelands after football was halted in late March due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
But now with Scottish Premiership clubs getting the green light to resume training from Thursday, players from around the globe are beginning their travels back to Scotland.
Rangers’ new £3million signing Ianis Hagi has also returned to Glasgow following his stint at home in Romania.
SFA and SPFL bosses are aiming to get the Scottish Premiership underway from August 1.
And with training starting from this week all clubs are being urged to follow strict guidelines to ensure the full safety of staff and players.
Small grouped drills will be the initial port of call for top-flight teams and tackling has been strictly banned.
Equipment such as balls, flags and cones will also be fully disinfected after every session.
