Arsenal legend Jens Lehmann is reportedly interested in the vacant Dundee United manager's post.

Arabs boss Robbie Neilson recently departed Tannadice for a second stint as Hearts manager, leaving the role after two years in the post.

The Evening Telegraph claim the former Gunners goalkeeper is keen to make the move into first-team football management and sees United as the ideal place to do so.

Lehmann, 50, has coaching experience at Arsenal as well as FC Augsburg in his native Germany.

Former Hearts and Dundee United boss Craig Levein has also refused to rule out a potential return.
