Rangers target Kemar Roofe is happy at Anderlecht despite speculation linking him with a move to Ibrox.

The former Leeds Utd striker was a wanted man in Glasgow last season before opting to leave England for Belgium. But it has since been reported that Gers are hoping to try and convince Roofe to join up at Ibrox if they decide to sell top asset Alfredo Morelos.

However Herald and Times Sport understands Roofe is content at Anderlecht despite his side finishing eighth in the league last season and failing to qualify even for the Europa League.

Roofe, 27, scored six goals in the First Division last season in 13 appearances and his deal expires in 2022.

Any potential switch would, of course, depend on Morelos' future with cash-rich Al-Duhail reportedly interested in a £15m swoop.
