While the Scottish season may have ended prematurely, consistent form ensured that Rangers, Aberdeen, and Motherwell all entered the Europa League qualifying stages.

With Rangers set to enter the second qualifying round, and be seeded in the draw, Aberdeen and Motherwell will have tricky first-round ties to navigate.

The qualifying rounds will be played in single legs (instead of home and away), with many still set to qualify through the preliminary rounds. The draw for the 1st qualifying round is made before the results of the preliminary round are known. However, regardless of the preliminary outcomes, the good news for both Motherwell and Aberdeen is that they will be seeded for the first qualifying round and could land a favourable tie.
