CELTIC midfielder Tom Rogic's proposed £3.5 million move to an unnamed Qatari club has fallen through after the Australia internationalist failed to agree personal terms, according to Sky Sports.

The playmaker has been plagued by injury in recent years and has fallen down the pecking order at Parkhead as a result.

Ryan Christie and Olivier Ntcham both got more minutes than the 27-year-old last season and the capture of David Turnbull from Motherwell has left Rogic's place in the Premiership champions' squad under threat.

A club from Qatar were keen on bringing the midfielder to the Gulf state and are believed to have reached an agreement with Celtic, but that move has now fallen through after Rogic reportedly turned down the opportunity.
