ALLAN MCGREGOR admits Saturday's Old Firm win over Celtic was the strangest derby occasion of his career.

Steven Gerrard's side maintained their unbeaten start to the Premiership thanks to a brace from Connor Goldson at Parkhead.

It was the first derby clash to be played behind closed doors and a very different experience for Ibrox legend McGregor

He told RangersTV: “It was the strangest one I have probably played in, it was just weird coming out the tunnel and not getting dog’s abuse.

“It was good, the boys did well, three points and that’s the most important thing.

“People will say again because there were no fans it was probably easier, but you can’t take anything away from how we played.

“The word is control and controlling the game and sticking to a game-plan.”
