VASILIS BARKAS 6: No real chance with any of Milan's goals due to the poor standard of defending in front of him.

STEPHEN WELSH 5: Youngster should have been much tighter to his man as he was outjumped at opener, and was hooked at half-time as Celtic changed formation.

SHANE DUFFY 4: Real off-night for the defender, who looked extremely uncomfortable in the back three especially. Could be said he played a role in all three of Milan's goals.

KRISTOFFER AJER 7: As was the case on Saturday, Ajer was the only defender to come out of the game with much credit. May have impressed Milan scouts once more.

JEREMIE FRIMPONG 5: Tried to get forward as much as he could, but defensive positioning hugely suspect, particularly at third goal.

SCOTT BROWN 5: Quiet night from the skipper as he failed to get a hold of the game in the centre of the park.

CALLUM MCGREGOR 6: Lauded as Celtic's main man before the game by the opposition, but couldn't quite influence the match enough.

DIEGO LAXALT 7: Impressed going forward down the left with forceful running. Showed some neat touches and passing too against his parent club.

OLIVIER NTCHAM 6: Improved showing from the Frenchman after an insipid display against Rangers. Almost produced a late equaliser.

ALBIAN AJETI 6: Striker showed some decent hold-up play, but just couldn't quite find his killer touch.

LEIGH GRIFFITHS 5: Striker couldn;t get into game before being sacrificed in half-time shake-up.

SUBSTITUTES

MOI ELYOUNOUSSI 7: Great header to drag Celtic back into game and brought a spark.

RYAN CHRISTIE 6: Decent overall, but will be disappointed with set-pieces.

TOM ROGIC 7: Brought the quality in attack that had been missing.

PATRYK KLIMALA 5: Tried hard to get involved late on.

GREG TAYLOR 5: Provided fresh legs when Laxalt ran out of steam.
