RANGERS PLAYER RATINGS

ALLAN MCGREGOR 7

The Rangers goalkeeper broke Barry Ferguson’s record for European appearances when he started his 83rd game. Saved well from Abdoul Tapsoba at 2-2.

JAMES TAVERNIER 6

Could have done far better at the opening Standard Liege goal. But the right back atoned for that when he levelled from the penalty spot before half-time.

CONOR GOLDSON 7

Got Rangers back on level terms when he got on the end of a Borna Barisic corner and powered a header beyond Arnaud Bodart.

LEON BALOGUN 7

Failed to cut out the Duje Cop cross for the Maxime Lestienne goal. Excellent otherwise.

BORNA BARSIC 7

Supplied Goldson with a pinpoint delivery for the first Rangers goal. Could have blocked Collins Fai’s cross for the second Liege goal.

STEVEN DAVIS 8

Used all of his experience in the middle of the park to get Rangers into the last 32.

GLEN KAMARA 8

The Finnsh midfielder’s use of the ball was, as always, exceptional. Hardly misplaced a pass.

SCOTT ARFIELD 8

Looked a threat whenever he got near the final third. Showed great composure to score Rangers’ all important third goal.

RYAN KENT 8

No shortage of effort from the winger. His cut back to Arfield for Rangers’ all-important third goal was just outstanding.

ALFREDO MORELOS 7

No goals, but the Colombian striker put in a power of work both inside and outside the visitors’ penalty box.

KEMAR ROOFE 7

Won Rangers the penalty when his shot was handled by Lestienne in the Standard area.
