Edinburgh Airport will be cheering on Hearts in their Scottish Cup final against Celtic this weekend - with the control tower lit in maroon colours to support the Jambos.

Hearts make the trip to Glasgow where they'll face the holders of the tournament at Hampden Park. But it won't just be their usual loyal supporters backing them.

Sharing a post showing the tower already shining Hearts colours alongside chairman Ann Budge, the Edinburgh Airport twitter account confirmed they'd be ready.

"Our control tower will be maroon this weekend to cheer on @JamTarts in the Scottish Cup!" was the message.

Fans praised the gesture with one commenting: "Nice, mon the Hearts." Another added: "That's a great idea!"

One fan, a Hibs punter, questioned the decision to highlight the Jambos - only to be silenced when the Airport revealed a story showing their previous decision to do the same for Hearts' rivals back in 2016 when they faced Rangers.
