Scotland will play Netherlands and Luxembourg as they gear up for Euro 2020.

This summer marks the first major tournament the Scots have qualified for since 1998 and they are not taking it easy with two tough matches in preparation.

Head coach Steve Clarke hailed both international opponents and insisted it will provide difficult work-outs for his men.

He said: "Luxembourg and Netherlands offer us two very different challengers, both valuable to us ahead of our Group D fixtures.

"The matches provide an opportunity to build on the progress that got us to the finals and fine-tune before what we all want to be a memorable return to a major tournament."

Scotland, in line with government guidelines, will travel to the Algarve, Portugal, to face Holland on June 2 with an 8.45pm kick-off time.

They will then face Luxembourg four days later, on June 6.
