The Scottish Cup final will be contested between Hibs and St Johnstone this season after the latter saw off St Mirren in a 2-0 semi-final win earlier today.

Chris Kane and Glenn Middleton sealed their side's passage into their second cup final this campaign after winning the Betfred Cup back in February.

Conor McCarthy bagged a header late on but the Buddies could not make a comeback.

Hibs, meanwhile, managed a 2-0 victory over Dundee Utd on Saturday thanks to goals from Kevin Nisbet and Christian Doidge.

Now the details of the big match have been revealed, including the date and kick-off time.

The match has been confirmed as taking place on Saturday, May 22 at Hampden.

It will kick-off at 2pm though there will be no fans in attendance despite the easing of restrictions.
