ALLAN McGREGOR admits that the significance of Rangers' title win will really kick in today when his side lift their 55th championship.

The Rangers keeper, who was awarded Premiership Player of the Season yesterday, added that it was ‘a bit emotional’ coming into Ibrox, with a number of fans gathering outside the stadium.
“It’s been a long time coming, it will be a really special day for the boys,” he told Sky Sports.
“There’s a few fans kicking about when we came in and it got a bit emotional, so it will be a good day.
“I think after the St Mirren game, I don’t know if it has really kicked in yet, but today it will definitely kick in.”

When asked if the prospect of an unbeaten season added extra motivation, McGregor replied: “Playing with Rangers you don’t need anymore motivation. Its another game it’s another game we want to win, regardless if it’s the last game of the season or not. We will be going out to do that.”
