TONIGHT marks Giovanni van Bronckhorst's first game in charge of Rangers. 

Sparta Prague are in town for a vital Europa League tie. 

The Ibrox side require a win in either of their last two Group A matches to qualify for the last-32 of the competition. 

And with Lyon away the last game in the section, this evening's tie at home to Sparta seems like the best option to get over the line. 

The Dutchman was take to the Ibrox dugout for the first time as a manager, having played for the club over 20 years ago. 

Rangers were humbled by Hibs just four days ago in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final, losing 3-1 at Hampden. 

van Bronckhorst has told fans to expect changes to the team for this European game. 

So, which players should we expect to see when the team sheets are released this evening? Herald & Times Sport are on hand to provide the lowdown.

Allan McGregor is unlikely to lose his spot as number one. 

However, there could be a couple of changes outfield we believe van Bronckhorst might make. 

With Tavernier being the skipper, he will start - but that's not to say Patterson won't get more game time under Gio. 

With a distinct lack of options at centre-half currently through injury, Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun will start. Although, we're sure some Gers fans will be unhappy about Goldson's inclusion after his comments post-match against Hibs.

The first position which appears to be debateable is left-back. Barisic has been a great signing for the club, however, like many others his form has been poor so far this campaign. Calvin Bassey may get the nod tonight to freshen things up. 

Into midfield, Glen Kamara, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo look good to start.

Scott Arfield was involved at the weekend, and of course did well to score. But the three aforementioned players provide the right balance in terms of vision, passing ability, pace, dribbling and positional sense. 

Looking at the top end end, and there are some decisions to be made for Gio. 

Alfredo Morelos' form has been questionable of late. However, the striker has consistently provided the goods for the Ibrox side over the years. 

It seems likely that the Colombian will retain his place in Gio's team, with Ryan Kent and then either one of Ianis Hagi or Fashion Sakala playing in the inverted winger positions.
